महाराष्ट्र के औरंगाबाद (Aurangabad) में एक दिलदहला देने वाला मामला सामने आया है. यहां दहेज लोभी ससुराल वालों ने एक निजी न्यूज चैनल की एंकर जागृति की गला दबाकर हत्या कर दी है. जिसके बाद जागृति के परिजनों ने जम्होर थाने में पति समेत ससुराल वालों पर दहेज का मामला दर्ज कराते हुए कार्रवाई की मांग की है. 


दरअसल, दिल्ली के एक निजी चैनल में बतौर एंकर काम करने वाली जागृति लॉकडाउन से पूर्व अपने पति के साथ एक शादी समारोह में शामिल होने अपने ससुराल औरंगाबाद जिले के सुरमा गांव में आई थीं. लेकिन लॉकडाउन के कारण वे वहीं फंस गईं और दिल्ली वापस नहीं लौट पायी. पिछले दिनों इसकी हत्या कर दिये जाने की खबर सामने आयी तो लोग चौंक उठे. 


घटना के बाद मुफस्सिल थाना क्षेत्र के अकौना निवासी मायके वालों ने दहेज हत्या का आरोप लगाते हुये जम्होर थाना में पति समेत 4 लोगों के खिलाफ प्राथमिकी दर्ज करा दी है. मगर अब तक कोई ठोस कार्रवाई नहीं होने की वजह से उसके परिजन खासे चिन्तित हैं और न्याय की गुहार लगा रहे हैं. इस बारे में जब सदर एसडीपीओ से बात की गई तो उन्होंने पति समेत दो आरोपियों के गिरफ्तार कर लिये जाने की बात कही और बताया कि पोस्टमार्टम रिपोर्ट का इंतजार है. रिपोर्ट आने के बाद आगे की कार्रवाई की जाएगी.

    •  After the incident, the maiden residents of Akona in Mufassil police station area have lodged an FIR against 4 people, including her husband, in Jamhor police station, alleging dowry death.  But so far, due to no concrete action, his family is worried and pleading for justice.  When the matter was discussed with Sadar SDPO, he spoke about the arrest of two accused, including her husband, and said that the post-mortem report is awaited.  After the report comes, further action will be taken.

    Elderly man arrested for sexually assaulting 5 minor girls

    A 65-year-old man was arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting five minor girls by luring them to watch television at his home in Chhattisgarh's Balod district, police said on Monday.
