A five-year-old tribal girl has been raped allegedly her 30-year-old history-sheeter relative out on bail in a village in Raisen district of Madhya Pradesh.

The assault has left the lady critically injured who has been admitted in the district hospital, an officer said, including that the accused has been arrested.

The incident occurred on the night time of Friday in (Modakpur) village, about eighty kms from Raisen, when the female used to be taking walks to her house after attending a marriage, said Begumganj police station in-charge Bharat Singh.

"The accused Santosh Singh Adivasi caught hold of the girl when she was once strolling on my own to her domestic whilst her household participants were attending a marriage ceremony. The accused raped her and fled the spot," he said.

The police officer said the badly injured lady by some means walked to the venue of the marriage and narrated her ordeal to her family members, who in turn known as up the police.

"The woman used to be referred to district hospital from Begumganj civil hospital. Her circumstance continues to be critical," he said.

The accused was arrested from a hut backyard the village on Friday late night, the officer said, including that a case has been registered underneath quite a number sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.

The accused is a habitual offender and had been arrested until now in two cases of rape, which include that of a minor, and other crimes.

  •  बेगमगंज के थाना प्रभारी भरत सिंह ने कहा कि यह घटना रायसेन से लगभग अस्सी किलोमीटर दूर (मोदकपुर) गाँव में शुक्रवार की रात को हुई, जब महिला शादी में शामिल होने के लिए अपने घर जा रही थी।


  •  उन्होंने कहा, "आरोपी संतोष सिंह आदिवासी ने लड़की को तब पकड़ा जब वह एक बार अपने घरेलू काम पर जा रही थी जब उसके घरवाले शादी समारोह में भाग ले रहे थे। आरोपी ने उसके साथ बलात्कार किया और मौके से भाग गया।"


  •  पुलिस अधिकारी ने कहा कि बुरी तरह से घायल महिला किसी तरह से विवाह स्थल पर पहुंची और अपने परिवार के सदस्यों को अपनी आपबीती सुनाई, जो पुलिस को पता था।


  •  उन्होंने कहा, "बेगमगंज नागरिक अस्पताल से महिला को जिला अस्पताल में रेफर किया जाता था। उसकी स्थिति अभी भी गंभीर बनी हुई है।"


  •  आरोपी को शुक्रवार देर रात गांव के एक पिछवाड़े से गिरफ्तार किया गया था, अधिकारी ने कहा कि भारतीय दंड संहिता (आईपीसी) और यौन अपराधों से बच्चों के संरक्षण (POCSO) के कई धाराओं के तहत मामला दर्ज किया गया है।  अधिनियम।
