संवाद सहयोगी, हजारीबाग : एनजीटी के आदेश के बाद प्रशासनिक महकमा धोबिया तालाब पर हुए अतिक्रमण को लेकर अब सक्रिय हुआ है। लेकिन इसपर कब्जे की कहानी एक दशक से भी अधिक समय से लिखी जा रही थी। पुराना सदर प्रखंड कार्यालय के नजदीक स्थित धोबिया तालाब 12 एकड़ में फैला था। तीन दशक पूर्व 1990 के समय इस तालाब से साकेत पुरी तक आसानी से देखा जा सकता था। धीरे-धीरे लोगों ने इस कब्जा जमाना शुरु किया और यह सिमटकर चार एकड़ से भी कम जमीन पर सिमट गई। तालाब के दोनों छोर पर कब्जा कर जमीन अतिक्रमित की गई। इस तालाब पर कब्जा का खेल 2020 तक चलता रहा। पांच साल पूर्व तत्कालीन सीओ राजीव कुमार ने जांच कर अतिक्रमित करने वालों को नोटिस कर खाली करने का आदेश दिया था। इतना हीं नहीं अतिक्रमण को लेकर बार बार हंगामा और लिखा पढ़ी होने के बाद एक साल पूर्व एसडीओ कार्यालय की ओर से अमीन से मापी कराकर जमीन को चिन्हित करने का निदेश जारी किया गया था। परंतु आज भी मापी का आदेश फाइलों में पड़ा है और देखते हीं देखते तालाब की जमीन पर कब्जा हो गया।

इस तालाब में मछली बीज पालन से लेकर कपड़ा धोने का विशेष रुप से कार्य होता था। 15 साल पूर्व तक इस तालाब में लोग स्नान करते थे। परंतु धीरे धीरे यह तालाब नाला के रुप में तब्दील हो गया। स्थिति यह हो गई है कि यहां रहने वाले लोगों को नाला के रुप में तब्दील हो चुके तालाब की बदबू परेशान कर रही है। पूरा पानी काला पड़ गया है और इसमें रहने वाले मछलियां भी मर गयी है। जानकारी के मुताबिक इस तालाब में पीटीसी चौक से पानी आता है। होटल विनायक के समीप बने पूल से डीभीसी चौक से पानी नाला के रुप में सुरेश कॉलोनी होकर तालाब में पहुंचती है।

    •  In this pond there was a special work from fish seed farming to washing clothes.  Till 15 years ago, people used to bathe in this pond.  But gradually this pond has been transformed into a drain.  The situation has become such that people living here are disturbed by the smell of the tank which has been transformed into a drain.  The entire water has turned black and the fish living in it have also died.  According to the information, water comes from PTC Chowk in this pond.  From the pool built near Hotel Vinayak, Sibesh reaches the pond as a water stream from Dibhisi Chowk.

    Elderly man arrested for sexually assaulting 5 minor girls

    A 65-year-old man was arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting five minor girls by luring them to watch television at his home in Chhattisgarh's Balod district, police said on Monday.
